The Verdict

Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate make quick work of oil and buildup, while avocado oil and conditioning agents help limit roughness. That gives normal hair solid cleansing and combability, although the formula offers little technical novelty. Isothiazolinone preservatives, synthetic fragrance, persistent polymers, and petrochemical detergents explain the poor clean rating and modest sustainability score. Effective enough, but hard to recommend when newer salon shampoos achieve similar results with more current chemistry.
