Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo

Editor's Take
Old-school drugstore shampoo that earns its smooth finish, but the “moist” effect comes from silicone coating after a forceful sulfate wash.

The Verdict
Efficacy lands in the solid range: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate cleans deeply, while Dimethiconol and conditioning guar improve detangling and surface slip. Clean alignment is very poor, with MI/MCI, fragrance, persistent silicones, and synthetic dyes weighing heavily against it. Best suited to occasional buildup removal when you want a polished finish, not daily moisture care for a sensitive or dry scalp.
