Clinique Moisture Surge™ Intense 72H Lipid-Replenishing Hydrator Cream Moisturizer

Editor's Take
Clinique nailed the cushiony barrier-cream feel with Squalane and Cholesterol, but the silicone-heavy base is nowhere near clean-beauty territory.

The Verdict
Strong efficacy is the headline here: Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Squalane, Cholesterol, and Petrolatum make it a real dry-skin comfort cream, not a decorative gel. Modern technology shows in the silicone cream base and Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12, which give it that plush, sealed-in feel without much tack. The trade-off is plain for clean shoppers: Dimethicone, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Petrolatum, BHT, EDTA, PEGs, and Phenoxyethanol drag it into Limited COSMOS alignment and Mixed sustainability. Worth it for dry, tight skin that wants cushioned moisture more than a clean-label ingredient list.
