Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Cleanser

Editor's Take
Built like a barrier cream that happens to wash off, leaning on real ceramides and safflower oil while relying on traditional silicones for its cosmetic slip.

The Verdict
Dermalogica delivers exactly what the name promises by building a dense, non-stripping emulsion that actively respects the skin barrier. Instead of relying solely on mild detergents, the formula uses safflower oil, ceramides, and phytosterols at active levels to replenish lipids while you wash. The inclusion of linear silicones gives the texture a distinctly conventional glide, and the citrus essential oils might give pause to highly reactive skin types. A highly credible choice for chronically dry skin that needs a daily wash without the tight aftermath.
