Estée Lauder DayWear Glow Boost Jelly Cleanser

Editor's Take

The jelly texture feels fresher than the formula underneath; it cleans well, but the sulfate base and dated sensitizer package make prestige pricing hard to defend.

Four-pillar formula scores

  • Efficacy: 6.8 / 10
  • Modern Tech: 5.8 / 10
  • Clean Beauty: 1.0 / 10
  • Sustainability: 3.3 / 10

The Verdict

Sodium Laureth Sulfate provides a thorough, foamy cleanse, while Glycerin and Sodium Hyaluronate help soften the after-feel. The acrylate-thickened jelly and Glucose Oxidase system add some technical interest, but Methylchloroisothiazolinone and fragrance are poor company for sensitive skin. Effective for removing daily sunscreen and grime, though not especially gentle or sustainability-minded. A defensible pick within its lane, not a category-mover.
