Estée Lauder DayWear Glow Boost Jelly Cleanser

Editor's Take

Nice jelly feel, but the cleanse is old-guard foam with Sodium Laureth Sulfate doing the heavy lifting, so the glow story feels mostly cosmetic.

The Verdict

This is a competent foaming cleanser with a plush jelly texture, helped by Glycerin and Sodium Hyaluronate so it does not feel completely stripped. The catch is the base: Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Sodium Coco-Sulfate give the strong cleanse, while Acrylates Copolymer supplies much of the jelly body. The clean-beauty fit is rough because fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, EDTA-family chelators, and Methylchloroisothiazolinone are all in the mix, even if several sit low on the list. A credible prestige sink cleanser, not a sensitive-skin or green-beauty pick.
