Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cleanser

Editor's Take
For dry or touchy skin, this is the rare creamy cleanser with mild cleansing power and real cushion, though the fragrance keeps it from feeling pristine.
Four-pillar formula scores
- Efficacy: 8.2 / 10
- Modern Tech: 6.8 / 10
- Clean Beauty: 8.6 / 10
- Sustainability: 8.1 / 10
The Verdict
On the counter, this earns its Strong efficacy score: Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate and Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine cleanse without the squeaky afterfeel, while Xylitylglucoside gives dry skin some cushion. Clean is Excellent at 8.6, with the main compromise being undisclosed fragrance and the usual fragrance allergens near the bottom. The goat milk, milk protein, lactose, and honey make the comfort story believable but rule out vegan shoppers; worth it as a daily moisturizing cleanse for dry or sensitive skin, not as a fragrance-free purist pick.
