La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Dark Spot Face Cleanser with Melasyl and Niacinamide
by La Roche-Posay · skin_care
Editor's Take
A cleanser that actually treats dark spots while washing, built on amino-acid surfactants and pharmaceutical-grade actives instead of the usual sulfate strip-and-go.

The Verdict
La Roche-Posay brought its dermatology credentials to the sink with this one. The proprietary Melasyl™ pigment regulator sits alongside Niacinamide and Ceramide NP in a mild amino-acid surfactant base, so you're not trading barrier health for spot correction. The Gluconolactone adds gentle exfoliation without the burn. Synthetic fragrance and an ethoxylated thickener keep it out of strict clean territory, but the technology here is legitimately advanced for a rinse-off product. Worth it if you want your cleanser to do more than foam.
