La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Serum Dark Spot Corrector

Editor's Take
Melasyl™ and Niacinamide do serious dark-spot work here, but the silky Dimethicone base is pure clinical pharmacy, not clean-beauty romance.

The Verdict
On dark spots, this is one of La Roche-Posay’s more convincing bottles: Melasyl™, 10% Niacinamide, and LHA cover pigment signaling, barrier support, and surface polish. The feel comes from a silicone-heavy base, so you get instant blur and elegant spread rather than a stripped-down, natural-leaning serum. Fragrance, Red 33, PEGs, and persistent silicones make the ingredient story less tidy than the performance story. Worth it for stubborn discoloration when results matter more than minimalist credentials.
