The Verdict
Efficacy lands in the Strong band, and technology lands in the Modern band for a reason: Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, and Maltooligosyl Glucoside make a light, thorough wash with believable volume. It is sulfate-free and silicone-free, so it avoids the heavy coated feel that can flatten fine hair. The catch is the cleaner-than-drugstore base still leans on Fragrance/Parfum, Polyquaternium-47, and acrylate polymers, which keep the clean and sustainability scores in good, not great, territory. Worth it for fine or limp hair that wants lift from a daily shampoo, not a minimalist natural wash.
