Neutrogena Hydro Boost Eye Gel-Cream

Editor's Take

Hydrates and smooths on contact, but the silicone-polymer base is pure drugstore gloss; useful under concealer, weak on clean-beauty credentials.

  • Clean Beauty: 1.0 / 10
  • Sustainability: 2.8 / 10

The Verdict

Neutrogena gets the quick eye-area job done here: glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, trehalose, and Dimethicone give light hydration, slip, and a soft-focus finish. The olive-derived liquid crystal emulsifiers add a little modern polish, while the fragrance-free setup is a sensible choice around the eyes. The trade-off is the base: lots of silicone and synthetic polymer feel-good chemistry, with poor clean and sustainability standing. A credible mass-market hydrator for smoother-looking mornings, not a treatment serum in disguise.
