Neutrogena Hydro Boost Ultra Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Editor's Take

Neutrogena did more than bottle hyaluronic acid here: Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, and amino acids make this a serious hydration serum, silicone sheen included.

Four-pillar formula scores

  • Efficacy: 7.6 / 10
  • Modern Tech: 7.5 / 10
  • Clean Beauty: 7.9 / 10
  • Sustainability: 7.2 / 10

The Verdict

The label promises a serum; the formula delivers something more conventional. The texture help comes partly from Dimethicone, so the finish should feel smooth and cushioned, but it is not the cleanest or most biodegradable route to that slip. Fragrance-free and oil-free keeps it friendly for many routines, and the modern gel base gives it more polish than a plain HA dropper. A credible daily hydration serum, especially if you want bounce and comfort without pretending it is a botanical purist.
