The Verdict
Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate and Cocamidopropyl Betaine produce dense lather and robust cleansing, placing efficacy ahead of refinement. That detergent strength can feel stripping on dry or easily irritated skin, while Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate and grapefruit extract appear secondary. Fragrance, synthetic dyes, and ethoxylated ingredients further weaken its clean and sustainability credentials. A credible pick for very oily skin that wants a foaming wash, not a sophisticated acne treatment.
