Nexxus Therappe Ultimate Moisture Shampoo
by Nexxus · hair_care
Editor's Take
Nexxus gets the salon-shampoo basics right: creamy lather, dependable cleansing, and softer wet combing, but the throwback base makes the moisture story feel less special.
Four-pillar formula scores
- Efficacy: 7.2 / 10
- Modern Tech: 5.0 / 10
- Clean Beauty: 2.3 / 10
- Sustainability: 6.5 / 10
The Verdict
Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Cocamidopropyl Betaine provide a thorough wash, while Polyquaternium-10 helps leave damp hair easier to comb. That makes it a solid moisture-shampoo performer, although the fragrance, PEG and PPG ingredients, and conventional ethoxylated base put it well outside stricter clean standards and leave sustainability mixed. Worth it for salon-style softness after washing, but the formula is more dependable workhorse than modern moisture treatment.
