Ole Henriksen Glow2OH Exfoliating Dark Spot Toner with Glycolic & Lactic Acid

by Ole Henriksen · skin_care

Editor's Take

Glycolic and Lactic acids lead the formula at active levels, backed by Licorice extract for brightening, genuine exfoliation chemistry, though the fragrance and Polysorbate 20 keep it from clean territory.

Four-pillar formula scores

  • Efficacy: 8.8 / 10
  • Modern Tech: 6.5 / 10
  • Clean Beauty: 5.3 / 10
  • Sustainability: 7.8 / 10

The Verdict

This is a legitimately potent exfoliating toner. The dual-acid system sits high enough on the INCI to deliver real surface renewal, and the Licorice extract adds credible brightening support beyond the AHAs alone. Technology is modern without being groundbreaking,Phytic Acid as a natural chelator is a nice touch, but the core formula is a well-executed classic. The clean score suffers from undisclosed fragrance, three disclosed allergens, and the ethoxylated Polysorbate 20 emulsifier. Worth it if you want proven acid efficacy and can tolerate conventional supporting chemistry.
