PHLUR Vanilla Skin Natural Deodorant

Editor's Take

Vanilla Skin earns its counter space by controlling odor without the usual baking-soda blunt force, though fragrance-sensitive underarms may find the perfume less charming.

Four-pillar formula scores

  • Efficacy: 7.8 / 10
  • Modern Tech: 6.5 / 10
  • Clean Beauty: 8.8 / 10
  • Sustainability: 8.5 / 10

The Verdict

Strong efficacy: Zinc Ricinoleate neutralizes odor, while Maranta Arundinacea Root Powder absorbs moisture and Saccharomyces Ferment supports a more balanced underarm environment. Excellent clean profile, with the main caveat being opaque Parfum plus Benzyl Benzoate and Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone. Salicylic Acid adds useful skin-clearing support, but this remains a deodorant, not an antiperspirant. A credible natural stick for daily odor control, especially when baking soda is unwelcome.
