Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Matte Bouncy Blush

by Rare Beauty · makeup

Editor's Take

Lovely bounce, soft blur, and a very silicone-heavy base; it earns the matte finish, but clean-minded shoppers will see the trade immediately.

The Verdict

Rare Beauty gets the feel right here: silicone elastomers give the blush that springy pot texture, soft-focus blur, and reliable matte payoff. The pigment support looks solid, so color should lay down evenly instead of grabbing in patches. The catch is the same thing making it so smooth: a heavy run of persistent silicone, plus synthetic colorants and little to please a sustainability-first shopper. As makeup, it is a strong texture play; as a conscious-beauty pick, it is not the counter's best recommendation.
