RŌZ Salt Scalp Scrub

Editor's Take

Salt scrubs can be blunt instruments; this one earns its keep with acid exfoliation and a gentler lather, though the perfume feels unnecessary.

Four-pillar formula scores

  • Efficacy: 8.2 / 10
  • Modern Tech: 6.8 / 10
  • Clean Beauty: 8.6 / 10
  • Sustainability: 8.9 / 10

The Verdict

Efficacy is Excellent: Sodium Chloride, Salicylic Acid, and Glycolic Acid give flaky, buildup-prone scalps a thorough three-part exfoliation. Clean is Excellent, with sulfate-free Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate tempering the scrub's intensity, while fragrance, Limonene, Linalool, and Geraniol remain the main caveat for sensitive scalps. Technology is Modern rather than groundbreaking, but the formula is thoughtfully built for an occasional deep cleanse. A credible scalp reset, not an everyday shampoo.
