The Verdict
The bottle promises maracuja nourishment; the formula delivers a petroleum-wax base with pH-reactive synthetic colorants. Passiflora Edulis Seed Oil is real and present, but Microcrystalline Wax and a parade of synthetic lake dyes (Yellow 5, Red 27, Blue 1, Red 7) do the structural work. The color-shift technology is legitimate; Red 27 reacts to skin pH to create a custom tint; but the base is pure drugstore occlusion, not botanical innovation. The cooling agent (Menthone Glycerin Acetal) adds sensory theater; the fragrance and flavor compounds add opacity. Worth it if you want the pH-reactive tint and don't mind the petroleum base; skip it if you expected the maracuja oil to be more than a supporting player.
