Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel Facial Toner

by Thayers · skin_care

Editor's Take

The weak spot is conventional preservation, but the alcohol-free witch hazel base is better balanced than most old-school toners and earns its place beside the cleanser.

Four-pillar formula scores

  • Efficacy: 6.8 / 10
  • Modern Tech: 4.5 / 10
  • Clean Beauty: 7.8 / 10
  • Sustainability: 8.7 / 10

The Verdict

Efficacy is Solid: Hamamelis Virginiana offers mild astringency, while Glycerin and Rosa Damascena Flower Water keep a post-cleanse sweep from feeling overly stark. Clean is Excellent, despite Phenoxyethanol and a secondary fragrance caveat, and Sustainability is competent thanks to the water-and-botanical base. Technology is Conventional, with no advanced delivery system or treatment-level actives. A credible daily toner for normal-to-oily skin, not a corrective treatment.
