Versed Soft Gloss Tinted Lip Serum
by Versed · makeup
Editor's Take
Versed goes glossy without getting gummy, thanks to silicone resin shine and a triglyceride cushion, though the colorants are more conventional than clean-beauty purists want.

The Verdict
On lips, this behaves more like a cushioned gloss treatment than a waxy balm, with Polyphenylsilsesquioxane giving wet-look shine and Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride doing the comfort work. Efficacy is Strong, and Clean is Good: the base is mostly sensible for a lip product, but the lake dyes, Synthetic Wax, and Menthoxypropanediol keep it from feeling especially purist. Technology is Modern for the category, helped by Dimethyl Isosorbide and proper pigment dispersion, not just tint stirred into grease. Worth it for sheer color and shine when you want a polished lip without the sticky lacquer feel.
