Editor's Take
For once, the rich cleansing balm earns its spa price: Vegetable Glycerin and Tamanu Oil cushion the cleanse without leaving skin feeling stripped.

The Verdict
This is one of the better balm cleansers on the shelf if your skin hates squeaky-clean finishes. The clean score is well aligned, and the efficacy score is Excellent, with Vegetable Glycerin, Tamanu Oil, and Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate doing the useful work instead of a harsh surfactant blend. It should suit dry, reactive, or barrier-stressed skin especially well for sunscreen and light makeup removal. The trade-off is texture and rinse feel, not performance: richer than a gel cleanser, but far kinder to the skin barrier.
