Smooche Color Changing Foundation

by smooche · makeup

Editor's Take

The color-changing trick is clever enough, but underneath sits a conventional mineral foundation with respectable coverage and little treatment value.

Four-pillar formula scores

  • Formula Sustainability: 6.1 / 10

The Verdict

Titanium Dioxide, iron oxides, and Mica provide credible coverage with a soft-focus finish, while Silica helps manage texture and shine. Ethylhexyl Palmitate and the silicone emulsifier keep application smooth, though neither makes this skincare. Parfum and an ethoxylated base also put stricter clean-beauty credentials out of reach. Worth it as an easy everyday complexion product, not as a treatment foundation.
