Westman Atelier Vital Pressed Skincare Blurring Talc-Free Setting Powder
by Westman Atelier · makeup
Editor's Take
Here’s the rare setting powder that earns its skincare costume, with Hydroxyapatite blur, Zinc Oxide softness, and Jojoba keeping the finish civilized.
Four-pillar formula scores
- Performance: 8.5 / 10
- Innovative Ingredients: 8.2 / 10
- Clean Standards: 9.5 / 10
- Formula Sustainability: 9.4 / 10
The Verdict
On the counter, this is the powder I’d hand to someone who wants blur without that chalky, tight pressed-powder look. Hydroxyapatite and Zinc Oxide do the soft-focus and oil-control work, while Jojoba Seed Oil and Phytosteryl Macadamiate keep the base feeling more skincare-adjacent than dusty. The strong pillars are real: 8.5 efficacy shows strong efficacy alignment, and the 9.5 clean score is Excellent, with technology Highly Advanced and sustainability Very Good. Not COSMOS-certifiable because of Butylene Glycol, Sodium Dehydroacetate, and Red 30, but for a talc-free luxury setting powder, the ingredients are doing more than window dressing.
